Pork Tenderloin - Bacon Wrapped

Ingredients

  • 1 Pre-packaged unseasoned Hormel pork tenderloin (about 18 ounces)
  • 3 slices of bacon (not thick)
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic, chopped
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. dried crumbled leaf basil
  • ½ tsp. dried crumbled leaf oregano
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • olive oil

Method

  1. Combine garlic, salt, basil, oregano and black pepper; rub seasoning all over the pork tenderloin. Wrap pork with bacon and secure with toothpicks. Coat well with olive oil. Place in a 9 x 13 pan and bake uncovered in a 375° to 400° oven for 1 hour.
  2. Make sure bacon is really done. Remove from oven and wrap in foil. Let stand for 10 minutes before slicing.
