Bananas Foster

  • 1 stick butter
  • cup brown sugar
  • 4 bananas, halved and sliced
  • ½ cup rum


  1. Add 1 stick of butter and 1/3 cup brown sugar in stainless steel skillet. Melt butter and brown sugar then add sliced bananas. Cook on one side 1 to 1 1/2 minutes. Flip over and cook again. Add rum and set afire (Be careful)
  2. Remove from heat.
  3. Serve over pound cake and ice cream, or omit cake.
