Pizza Dough

Servings/Yield: 4 crusts

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg dry yeast
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 ⅓ cup water (110 degrees)
  • 3 cup + 2 Tbsp flour

Method

  1. Mix warm water and yeast. Add flour. Mix on low speed for 3-4 minutes.
  2. Let stand for 20 minutes.
  3. Add salt, mix for 3 minutes on low speed, 1 minute on medium speed. 
  4. Let rise until doubled in size. Form into a ball. Divide into 4 and roll into pizza crusts. 
  5. Bake at 500° for 2-3 minutes (big bubbles are normal). Add pizza sauce and desired ingredients and bake at 500° for 3-5 minutes. Crusts may also be frozen and will not freeze together when stacked.
