Quiche Lorraine

Servings/Yield: 8 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen pastry shell
  • ½ lb. bacon (12 strips) crisply fried and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 ½ cup half and half
  • 3 eggs
  • Nutmeg

Method

  1. Bake pastry shell according to . Cool.
  2. Crumble cooked bacon on bottom of pastry shell.
  3. In medium bowl, beat eggs slightly; add cheese and half and half; stir. Pour over bacon in pastry shell. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
  4. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
